Personal Life Coaching -Coaching for Men

What is Personal Life Coaching?

Life Coaching embodies a collaborative voyage, supporting individuals through life's challenges and periods of transition. It engages in an interactive and non-directive partnership between the coach and the individual seeking guidance.

Each Coaching session unfolds as an open dialogue, fostering fresh insights into the coachee's current mindset, setting clear objectives, and forging a path toward achieving these goals. By aiding coachees in pinpointing their authentic values, they become empowered to establish a stronger sense of purpose and direction in their lives.

While acknowledging the significance of a coachee's past experiences, these coaching sessions are geared towards the present, encouraging individuals to actively shape a more fulfilling future.

Pricing Information

  • Personal Life Coaching is priced at €80 per session.

  • Alternatively, you pay €280 if you book a block of four sessions.

  • If you refer someone who signs up for four sessions, you get one session for free.

Why is there a specific need for men in Coaching

and Coaching for Men?

The world has rightly become more equal  in recent years. This change has primarily focused on empowering women towards increased independence, balanced relationships, and expanded opportunities in their education and career. However, this emphasis has inadvertently resulted in a lack of attention and resources directed towards supporting men and boys in navigating modern challenges in their workplaces, education, and relationships.

I have seen first hand that men are strikingly underrepresented in the world of psychology. This means that solutions and services in the field of psychology are less geared towards boys and men. This, in turn, leads to a lack of understanding of the manifold issues faced by men and boys in the 21st century, which thus remain unrecognised and unaddressed.

My reasons for specialising in Coaching for Men:

  • My own personal experiences as a 20-something-year-old male navigating the world.

  • Boys are falling behind in education and there is a lack of men working in education.

  • The lack of male representation in healthcare settings in general, and in the field of psychology in particular.

  • An increase in overtly negative characterisation or “dumbing down” of men in modern TV shows and film, and the harmful impact this can have on men and boys.

  • The high percentage of men who are homeless, struggling with addiction, and/or suicidal thoughts.

  • The rise of toxic masculinity from public figures such as Andrew Tate.

  • The fantastic writings of Richard Reeves in his book “Of Boys and Men”.

  • Lack of positive male role models at home, in education and in the media

  • Over-diagnosis of conditions like ADHD

  • Educational underperformance compared to women and girls

  • Delays in significant life events such as marriage

  • Societal stigma attached to seeking mental health support

What are common challenges for boys and men in 2025?

  • Navigating a career that increasingly requires high levels of emotional intelligence

  • Limited career prospects due to societal stigmatisation of HEAL roles and trades

  • Lack of profound connections such as friendships and family relationships

  • Developing a sense of positive masculinity and personal identity
